Bought a house in Rockwell, and am wondering if there's anyone around the area to help me locate Mopar worthy businesses !!!

Well, had a slight hick up with the inspection, so we've got our fingers crossed everything works out !! Should know by later in the week or early next week !!

Looks like everything is moving along as planned ! Closing on the house in just over 1 week !!!

Great to have you here. I'm up the road a little, Kernersville. That is between Greensboro and winston Salem.

Welcome to the TarHeel state!

I'm in Burlington NC. A good number of vintage Mopar guys in the area.

I'm in the mountains of NC. Show Time Restorations is in Cherryville, NC...and they do excellent work. The parts side of their business is Motor Parts South. Good luck with the move!

Ya know, after just moving back to NC in 2015 I love it!

Once we replace some of these liberal minded bozos in Raliegh we'll be doing GREAT!

You're right Jeff.....and it's starting to appear that some who are supposed to be standing up for our rights have forgotten who sent them there!

You mentioned Showtime Restoration in an earlier post!!! He’s a good friend of mine...in fact he was in my wedding!! We went to college together in Charlotte, his name is Geoff McBride and I’ve know him since ‘87.
He does great work and very proud to call him my friend!

Tsully....You may have been the one that Geoff used my Challenger conv for something at your wedding....lol. I've known him since 85. I tried to trade his Dad a Superbird that I had just bought for Challenger R/T conv he had for sale. He refused to trade because he didn't want me to be mad when I figured out how much I could sell the bird for vs the Challenger! We have been great friends ever since.

I didn’t have any Mopars in the wedding unfortunately!!!

Were you trying to trade for the Plum Crazy on White? If so that was the wife’s and I know she loved that car!!!

They had an original Hemi Orange ‘Bird with 13k on it....super nice survivor car!

Mac is supposed to coming down to the house this summer and go out on the boat!

My wife and I are supposed to in MB this weekend...if we make it I’ll let you know!!!

Nope, not the purple one. It was a F8 green R/T conv that was a factory 440 car. It was rough as a cobb, but it was an R/T conv...and I was hell bent on getting a Challenger conv. I paid next to nothing for the Superbird, and ironically, found it sitting in a gas station in Myrtle Beach for sale! I bought it cause it was cheap. I restored it, but pretty much hated it because it was longer than a dead snake....and sold it in 87. Same dude in MA has owned it ever since. I found my Challenger conv. in 89, and still have it. Purple 71, black top and interior.

I live near Raleigh, NC. I think Herb McCandless has still got something in Burlington, NC. His son is running the business, last I heard.
Rockwell has a barbecue restaurant. It's got a (modern) NASCAR motif. ehh.

Nice car. But your right like driving a train. Got s pic of the purple one?

I see I am a little late to the party, but we are in Concord, around 30 miles from you. We were just in Rockwell a couple of weeks ago. There is a Cowboy Church there and we went to see a friend of ours sing for a concert there.

Welcome to NC.
