I think I'm going to need a replacement front wheel hub. Anyone know where I can get one?

68 barracuda 10" drum brakes.

I was replacing wheel studs, pushed them out, pushed new ones back in. put the tire on and a couple of them started spinning, the teeth had stripped out. Now I gotta get the tire off the hub somehow too

Tack weld the studs from the back...

I would use at least two tacks per stud...

Remove the center nut for the wheel bearings, then the whole hub will just come off with the tire and you can access it from the back better...

I've got the tire/drum off. I thought about welding them and calling it good, but I read some forum somewhere else where some guy asked about that, and everyone replied it was a bad idea cause the studs will get brittle due to the heat and they will break off. That seemed a little far fetched to me but I'm no metallurgist. Have you done similar with success? I assume since you're still alive no issues?

I've known people that have tack welded the studs in with no problems...
