NEW BLOCKS BY DART

I stop having any interest in Athens Ritter block when all I read was problem after problem after problem after problem.

The extreme amount of machine work on top of an expensive block has made it cost prohibitive for me.

I've never seen a block that didn't require machine work. Not one. Every single block I've ever bought and used had to be decked, line honed, the hone at minimum touched up, the cam bore verified...all that. There is no such thing as an off the shelf block. Just like there isn't an off the shelf head.

He did have some early issues with pin holes or something. That's typical. Dart has been around long enough most have forgotten about early issues.

If you look, you'll find guys bitching about Dart blocks too.
