NEW BLOCKS BY DART

I've never seen a block that didn't require machine work. Not one. Every single block I've ever bought and used had to be decked, line honed, the hone at minimum touched up, the cam bore verified...all that. There is no such thing as an off the shelf block. Just like there isn't an off the shelf head.

He did have some early issues with pin holes or something. That's typical. Dart has been around long enough most have forgotten about early issues.

If you look, you'll find guys bitching about Dart blocks too.

The Ritter blocks at minimum require a ton of work to be usuable. Big difference between say prepping a typical R3 for use and a Ritter block. Talk to literally anybody who has a Ritter block for verification of this.
The guys who have undertaken trying to make a Ritter block usuable all have horror stories to tell.
I wont say they are junk, but whatever one small step better than junk would be called, thats where they are at.
That all said, i have heard the latest versions are somewhat better, but still a handful. Poster “ white dart” would be a good guy to ask about them. Only a handful of those blocks in actual running use.
Regards the Dart block, dont hold your breath, mighty unlikely to happen
