NEW BLOCKS BY DART

Haha. You have a habit of making sense brother, keep up the good work.
Thanks! LMAO
I do have hope though seeing some member run really well with stock blocks. Nothing INSANE! But quite quick as far as I’m concerned.
Yep...all that takes the fun out of it for me. That's why I sold the race car. I was done. Then my cousin died and I ended up with his car. I have much more fun running low 12's than I ever did going low 9's. Piss on all that crapola.

That said...when I had a chance to buy a virgin X block I snatched it up. I may have a chance to buy a virgin R block and 3.79 stroke crank. If so, that will be my next and last engine and I'll use my W-2 heads for that one.

Everyone seems to under estimate a good solid low 12 car. Why this is I don’t know. It’s like 90% of those who knock such a car never ever truly had a car that quick on the street.

While I understand what 600+ HP (small block) feels like in a nice light weight car feels like, it’s awesome, it’s also high stress which is high maintenance. (By compare mild mannered 12/11 second car. Not to mention a big block is better for this IMO.)

My final street engine I’d like to accomplish is a 3.58/340 w/W2 heads @ approximately and no higher than 10-1 on today’s pump swill.
Very well ported heads and a moderate cam will do well as long as the car isn’t nick named “Tubby!”

(2 strokers on deck now, so things will have to wait. 372 (+) Part Accumulation underway,”)
