Today's nasty car!

-
Just call the hazmat people. Seriously. They will tow it away. Can't imagine the bill she will get.

We had a short lived customer at the dealership. There were "fu** little boy books and a tube of cinnamon flavored anal ease on the floor. I called the guy and told him to come and pick up the car. Not touching that car!

I get a house a week looking like that. "Maam, you need to tell me where the phone jack is so I can tell you to clear a path for me to it before I come back, here is my boss' telephone number...reschedule with him....bu bye", and I walk out. No amount of pleading or swearing is gonna make me change my mind. Been doing this too long to get blamed for breaking a "priceless antique" by stepping over mounds of GARBAGE.

I bought a 73 Cuda from a lady that wasn't much better; took 3 days to clean it out, had trash 5" deep, not to mention cats had lived in it and the drivers window would't roll up so it rained in the car as well.

They knew about the guy. They were waiting for him to do something so they could make an arrest. Too bad it works that way.

Our techs have refused to work on peoples cars also. Cant really blame them. 9 times out of ten they are from a town 45 plus miles away and have been booted from every shop along the way.

Part two,
car came in for over heating issue and A/C not working.
Tech walked out to the car and popped the hood. He swapped the thermostat and gasket, changed the coolant.
He came back in and said he wasn't getting in it. Told me if he was forced to,he'd call a wrecker to get toolbox then quit. I laughed at him and told him not to worry.
I had the privilege of calling the lady.
She was just as nasty to deal with as her car.
I told her we wouldn't be able to do anything with the A/C until she cleaned. For all we knew, there's nothing wrong with the A/C it just isn't able to circulate.
The lady came to get her car and wanted to know who she spoke to on the phone. I stepped up and told her it was me. Was was insulted that I commented on her car and who did I think I was to do so. Service manager told her the car wasn't safe to be in the shop, that it was a fire hazard.
She went off on a tirade about how she had a A/C compressor installed in 2014 and the air hasn't worked since, ect....
He reinforced that there was nothing we could or would do until its cleaned out.
She finally left after 15 or so minutes of just being a *****!
Svc mgr said she'll be back, no one else will touch her crap.

Told my daughter if she ever wanted me to fix her car again, it better be clean inside.

Then i looked in the back seat of my truck this morning... guess i better drag a garbage can over before she sees it.

I’m not even that old but I’ve been dealing with customers since 2000. Every year the percentage goes up of impatient, entitled, and flat out rude people.

I think every job training video should start with an hour of Red Forman.

Glad your boss didn’t bend over for an inconsiderate slob.

Every once in a while when walking through a parking lot I will see something like that, I always wonder how people can be such slobs.

Long ago I delivered pizzas, you get a brief window into someones life while doing that. Saw some crazy stuff, everything that's been joked about here. Saw a few places that looked worse then that car, the smell that came out of the open door about knocked me over, how anybody can live like that is beyond me. I even knew the people at one house, never realized they were like that.

This is EXACTLY why I purposely stayed away from jobs dealing with the public. When I was young (17-18) I worked in a exhaust shop, the job was awesome but dealing with the public sucked. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't want to set some's car on fire or punch someone. This is all a result of people feeling entitled, these are the same people who leave the shopping cart in the parking lot because they are too freaking lazy to push it to one of the collection points. Same people who finish their McDonalds and throw the bag outside their car window... I go rant for a long time but I think the point is made. I would completely agree that I have a very militant view of the world and therefore have no hesitation in saying that these people need to be hit with a taser repeatedly to correct the deficiencies in there character. Everyone screws up from time to time but these type of people go out of their way to do things they know are wrong "just because" and then are incensed when called out on it. They keep doing it because they get their way more than not just by being obnoxious because our society now wants to cater to everyone all the time. In other words, we have almost eliminated personal responsibility from our social makeup by allowing these people to repeatedly get away with stupid conduct and worse, even profit or benefit from it which only emboldens them more and makes them even worse... Sorry... rant over...

Theres a lady that works in facility i work at. She has a fairly new dodge journey thats packed so high full of **** that i dont think she can see out the rear view window. Theres everything in there from industrial dized cans of pork n beans to papers and boxes and other assorted ****. Only spot thats open is drivers seat area. I think its a mental condition.
