Hope your surgery went well Roy. I am recovering from hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago. Hope your recovery goes as good as mine has.

I had almost the exact same surgery 3 weeks ago yesterday! Leaves you with about a 12" scar ( 42 staples ).

I'm doing great, as I am sure you will!
 
Aight Roy, time for an update. Hope everything went well. Kitty and I send prayers. We'll have to get some more Nu Ways when you come to Georgia again.
 
Well I am overwhelmed by all the support from my FABO family. This is my first time getting on line since the surgery. There were complications and had to have a rib partially removed. Also said I went into respiratory arrest in post op. I can tell you that this is the most pain for the longest duration I have ever had to endure. Still not to the point that I would say it was worth it. I don't know, time will tell. Thanks to everyone for your support. ---------Roy

I am curious to how your recovery is going along?

I had a very simular surgery on the 5th. Painting and bone removal on L2 - L6. Left me about a 12" incision with 45 staples. It sucks! However; I am up and around, bending and I even went fishing last Friday for about 4 hourd. That might not have been the smartest thing to do because I was worn out afterwards. Let's still feel pretty weak but some of that is due to 3 Knew replacements. In another few days I hope to get out in the shop and do some light work. I now grass now, no back flips though:lol:.

Anyway I hope you are doing as well as I am!

Heck yeah. You gotta recover cause we got some more chili dogs to eat.
 
Best wishes Roy for complete recovery. Do the therapy they recommend, it'll be better in long run. Prayers sent too.
