69 Cuda resto

Got the badging and stripes on! Man, it's amazing how much those stripes make the car pop. Crappy garage pics but once we get her washed and waxed and outside I'll post the 'finished' pictures. Six and a half long years, self doubt and doubt from others down the drain!

That looks awesome! Great outcome. I'm curious about the front and rear splash pans. I thought that originally they were painted black from the factory
and the side stripes leading up to them overlapped the paint. Are you leaving the splash pans B7, or just going to paint up to the stripes?

Wow coloring in the center threw me off on that one. Yep looking at it again, short tail behind the last letter a. Car looks great.

How much for the 69 fender scripts???

If you're asking about the ones on the car we're not parting it out..lol. I couldn't tell you where we git ours. Probably the Nats. They're not repops. I had to clean them up and repaint the black in them.

Hey afbill i turned him on to year ones fathers day sale. New fender scripts @ 30% off for like $25 each.

I don't know, probably just paint up to them in order keep the continuity. The bumpers will cover a lot of it. It'l be something we'll think about later. Right now WE JUST WANT TO DRIVE IT!!!...lol

I just ran through this whole thread again. Now that we're down to the "end" (there's always things to be done) I want to thank everyone for their support, advice, and, for some of you, parts. At the beginning of this resto we were told to buy another car and start from scratch. Frankly we didn't think there was anything we couldn't learn or do and we figured we'd give it a try. I believe in my heart that we could NOT have done this without the support of you FABO members.

We all feel these cars are our babies and we all have a piece of our heart and soul in them. I want each and every person who followed this restoration to know that a piece of you is in this car.

I can't, so I won't, name you all, but from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you all. This project meant the world to me, my dad and, not to mention, my mom.

Thank you all and I can't wait to see you out there on the street!!!
