This was my 68 Dart 340 when I brought it into the shop right after purchase. Receipts in the glove compartment says these were hedman. Creative installation.

TTI is the way to go? Shorty or long tube?
100% YES!
Long tube.
There own exhaust is also super good. They can be bought with or without mufflers in 2-1/2 & 3 inch tube size, true duals, X or H piped. Tips or no tips.

2-1/2 inch is best set up for small block street and strip.
3 inch for killer mills.

Here's a pick of the Hookers on my Duster. They do hang down a bit. So I don't go flying over RR tracks or curbs. But hey, they were free! ;) The first time I removed them sucked. But after doing it several times i got the process down to where it's not a big deal for me. That said, I'm cheap and not in a hurry LOL!

Be well,
Pat

did something change? I remember the passenger side hanging too low with Hedmann hedders back in the day. yes, it would end up crushed and restrictive, nulling out the effectiveness of having headers...;)

I think it’s because they had go around the starter and stay clear of clutch pedal z bracket

Neither do I just some of our roads here suck. How do like the quick jacks?

I hear you about the roads man. For all the construction around here, the roads never seem to get any better.

I really like the quick jacks a lot. Made getting the 727 out, and back in, a breeze (relatively!). Also get's the car high enough to slide the headers straight up and in, which was a bit sketchy when I did it with floor jacks and blocks of wood. Plenty of room to scoot around under the car on my creeper. I like the fact that I have access to the full drive train vs the scissor style lifts. I also wanted something portable that I could take to the track and up to our cabin. Overall, I would recommend it.

Pat

Thanks for input, I am looking to get some type of lift but has to portable and not a scissor style for the same reason.

It’s sucks balls that on you tube you can see the Engine masters header bash test where crushed header tubes made little difference. Or the other test to address people’s complaints on the header being to big so it didn’t matter & how it was also proved the veiwers wrong.

Is this your first SB mopar with headers? I sold a Dart Sport with the same thing, too lazy to take the header off. Would have met a sawzall had it been required.

That what ALL the cheap headers do, capture the steering linkage.
