The YELLOW may be misleading. Since I don't have 'the box' or what's included, that may be with "some coil." The point is, the wires FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR as pictured go to
BLACK...........to coil NEG and to TACH. Nothing else to coil NEG
RED...............to coil POS and to switched ignition feed from harness
