Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle 2018

skipping it again this year.
yeah me too, was into it more when it first started back in like 1991-92.... when is it anyway? I think I stopped going when they switched from the second weekend in July to the first, something happened, and I remember pulling into town one year and there was no show, guy at a gas station said"yeah it was last week' good thing I only live an hour away.....:) Yeah but also, people just selling junk parts for outrageous prices, I rememnber kelsey hayes calipers and rotrs for sale that were worse than what I had. I mean that **** is still available brand neww naaamsayin?!??

Still heading up this year, its going to be hot.
Drink lots of water, or Gatorade, the humidity is going to be brutal.

I was talking to some oil rig workers from Texas today, they were complaining how hot WV was and they wanted to go home, they were not used to the humidity.

Hey Dave I bought my 69 grill screens from you last year. I need pretty long style backup chrome bezels. And the outer chrome surrounds for my 69 Fish. Must be nice. Send me a PM if you have them. I'm coming over on Thurs. morning.

I will see what I have but I do not think I have any one of those. see you on thursday

Got my car corral spot CA248 still taking the pro-street truck to sell.

Its always 'Hotter than hell" at the Chrysler show, why cant they pick a better date like May or September, they try to make a Mopar enthusiast's life hell....

May - idk.... my buddy has a 52 MG TD. Been to the import show with him in May 7 times over the last 15 years.... 6 of them were near rain outs. Made for another version of miserable. Neat car, but 2 guys in a TD is damn tight. We have about 2 inches between our shoulders when the top is up and side curtains deployed.

You guys post your spots
Now is the time
Requests for large,heavy,fragile

They know we will show up 'come Hell or high water' (or both) so they save the nicer months for other brand shows.

I live ten minutes away. May was WET.

They keep the dates the same for a reason & hot or not, it is still the best Mopar show on earth.

Staying on the grounds is fun at night walking around talking to people buying stuff good time

Second that!
Rain is the worst evil for events
i know heat can be rough but
Rain is the worst

Cash?
You need cash, right? Not all vendors take card? Am I right?
And can you get cash from your card at the Fairground?
Thanks,
Stefan

Map shows one ATM spot in building T. I wouldn't want to count on that. Get cash beforehand. I would guess the big company vendors could take card, but most of the guys with parts I would think not.
