Poor quality parts ruining the hobby for me

Well, gee...since everything after market is junk, I guess we all just better fold up our tents and get out of the hobby.

Seriously, good parts are out there...you just have to look carefully for them and be prepared to pay for quality.

Good quality parts use to be run of the mill at regular price. Now you have to pay out the *** if you want something that will last over a year. It's ridiculous when a 100k mile used part is more suited to last than a brand spanking new one. And Mopar repop parts are not cheap, even for the Chinese garbage that is on the market. I had a $300 repop dash for my 62 (tiny little eyebrow) peel back after ONE DAY! I've even had made in the U.S.A. parts like Holley fuel pumps leak like a sieve right out of the box. Gauges fail after one days use. It goes on and on.
