Centerline Autodrags

I emailed centerline about a month ago and they said they will start making auto drags again at the end of the year
 
Center Line Wheels stopped production and closed doors in April of 2017. Design Infini acquired the Center Line brand and intellectual property. They also own Motiv Wheels and some others. Don't know for sure, but I'd guess they are now made in a foreign land.
 
Sure they closed, but then just sold the name, worth $$$. Many old name brands were gobbled up by Chinese manufacturers to keep the name recognition. Remember Bell & Howell, RCA, Emerson, Zenith...all old American companies that have practically nothing to do with the OG management. Centerlines were forged, but that is $$ compares to casting so maybe the new offshore ones will be cast and machined (if they actually do take the manufacturing overseas), but forging as alot more "green" than casting in USA, especially Commi-fornicate-ya.
Verizon telecom bought AOL. We asked "WTF, AOL? That dog is dead..." But learned that the patents they held for streaming video/social media were more valuable than the dead company itself. "AutoDrag" is an iconic name.
 
just saw two sets at the Mopars at the Red Barns show today, ranging from $250 to $400 front and back both sets.

Have looked to unload my 86 vintage polished 15”x8.5 and 15x3.5 - 4” bolt pattern autodrags for a couple years now. No one is serious enough, or the the offset does not meet their needs.

What is the offset on the 15x8 1/2`s ?? didn`t see a price!

They are not polished but they could be. All of the polished autodrags I have started out satin. It recently cost me $100 to have both inside and outside of my spindle mount autodrags polished. Came out great.

I for one hope they come back. I really want a satin set of big and littles for my Duster.

I have a pair of centerline Tellstars I used on the back of my 406 sbc shortbed GMC , unfortunately they are 5 on 5 and cant use them now. Would trade for mopar wheels if anyone needs them, will bot right on a gm pick up 15 x 10" wide. Us to have slicks on them. New condition.
