1970 cuda gran coupe??

$2,500?!!! Maybe 20 years ago. You couldn't get a beat up, rusted out 70-74 E-body for $2,500 when I bought my '72 Challenger 10 years ago.

Yeah, I don't care if it's a "barracuda" and not a "cuda". If you get a rusted out hulk that needs 90% of it's metal replaced in any kind of '70-74 Barracuda for less than $5k you've done well. If it rolls and kind of looks like a car you're looking at $8-$10k. If it runs and drives and doesn't look like it was painted by a kindergartener it'll be $15-$20k.
This has been my experience too. I don't think I've seen a running, driving ebody for under 10k in at least 25yrs. I certainly haven't seen ANYTHING for under 5k.

I looked at a '70 340 Cuda shell a while back. It was pretty solid and had a clean title. No drivetrain, a couple boxes of parts, and that was it. The guy was asking $7,000 and I was the first to look at it. I dragged my feet before going to the bank and driving back to the guys house. The car sold for almost $9,000 before I got back there.
