It's the same way with the big block heads. Fully CNC ported, but after they are out for a while, you can buy them bare. Honestly, I have no problem with the valves and springs. Ferrea and PAC are higher quality than you will get in an Eddy or offshore head.

I'd still rather pick my components myself. And I'd much rather do my own porting. Hey mike if you get a chance can you ask if they will sell bare casting with no port work and just the seats and guides installed? I don't even want a valve job on them. Also, if they are open to it, see if they will give you a price.
