Info Needed !!

They were standard in Opel CIH engines but were much better built than these and had a oil pressure operated tensioner. My 2-3 shift RPM was 7500-8000 RPM. and that was in a rally car that saw thousands of shifts per event and high engine revs for miles and miles. Never an issue. So yes, they can work fine. But I've also pulled one like this out of a 4.7 that fell apart in my hands. I am just not very impressed with this particular design.
