I'd rotate the 90^ adapter to point to the side then place the hose pointing forward to move it away from the manifold.
With mine I looped it under the battery tray and back to the pump. (the way both this car and my 67 Valiant were).
The parts book shows the 2537802 hose on the 273-4 and the 2267598 on the 273-2
My car had the 2537802 with the 273-2 and it was original, not likely replaced
As far as i know all 67 Barracuda's used the same TRW pump.
