Header wrap??

I've heard that's the best way to go is a company that specializes in coatings. I'm sure I have one around here. I've done a little research on my own after reading this thread and have read some positive experiences with the header wrap...so I suppose this might be one of those controversial topics with true believers on both sides. Maybe environmental factors come into play as well. Steel has a lifespan anyways. My headmans just split where the primaries cone together and they only have a few hours on them. I never coated them.

The company you are using, are they dipping them? spraying them inside and out? I might call around and see how much that cost. Hedmann said they will send me a new set...I'm glad I didn't wrap them as they wouldn't take them back...so at least I got that working for me

I HAVE BEEN TOLD, THAT WRAP IS SUPPOSED TO BE REPLACED EVERY YEAR OR SO ??????
I hate the dam stuff because of the glass that gets in ur arms when working down around it, and the flaking off when it gets old. But it does work ! For a while .
