A friend has a 65 Dart slant 6 and for a safety aspect wants to convert to a dual pot master cylinder. Does someone make a kit for that, and/or, what is the easiest way to do it?

I just bought a kit of E-Bay for my 66 barracuda. Haven't installed it yet but looks complete. $175.00 for everything needed.

For my wife's '64 Barracuda I went with Dr Diff's 15/16" master cylinder, 2 bolt to 4 bolt adapter, and manual proportioning valve. Bent up a little Ni-Cop and I was done. Exact same system in my '65 Belvedere, works fine.

Thanks. So an adapter is needed for the Master cylinder? I haven't worked on any early A's yet.

The newer aluminum master cylinders are a 2 bolt design, and AR Engineering makes a very nice adapter to mount them to the firewall. There are 2 types, because A bodies have 4 studs sticking out of the firewall, while B & E bodies have 4 holes where bolts go through with nuts inside at the pedal assembly. Cass (Dr Diff) sells them as a kit, and he's the only place I found to get the 15/16" master for manual brakes.

Get a 67 Dart master cylinder for his brakes. 10 in front? It will just bolt in, no adapter required.
