I ordered from Classic Industries a new remote mirror for my duster because mine is broke and does not have the remote cable on it.

I got it and was looking at it with my uncle and he showed me that it can not work because it has a short remote cable and since the Dusters do not have a wing window it has to go all the way around and I need one with a long cable.

I looking at the description on the website and it indicates it will for for Dusters.

1972 Plymouth Duster Parts | MD2207 | 1966-74 Mopar A & B-Body Remote Outer Door Mirror - Round Type - (Drivers Side) LH | Classic Industries

I see what I believe is the same mirror on Dante's with that saem description saying it will work. I do see a A budy Only like.. 70 to 73 mirror that is not round.

Not really sure what to do or how to get the one I need. I do want the round one.

What's "broke" on your old one. Maybe you can repair it.
If you're not looking for pristine, I have a driver quality with 30" cables and bezel cheap.

Well the one that is on my car does not have the remote cable on it.

I called ClassicIndustries and they setup a return authorization for me. They only have the round mirror with the short cable.

I don't know that I need pristine. I would not want one that the chrome was badly pitted on but otherwise a nice mirror for a good price I would be quite interested with.

Here's what I have. As I, said it's a driver.

I've located the thread where I worked on this mirror 2 years ago to tighten up a floppy condition it had. I attributed the flop to the aluminum mirror backing that is distorted rather than cable end issues. It was just a "let's try this" project. Please review it as it will provide you more detail of this mirror. The nylon washer did not hold up but a stainless cap nut I replaced it with has kept the mirror stable in hand. The mirror has not been on a vehicle since. The glass has some light scratching but no shading as yet. "12JC3" is etched in the top of the glass. Wing window side has a small dent that doesn't interfere with the mirror motion. There is pitting on the inside also.

Side View Mirror Stuff FWIW

I'd like 30 PP - F&F plus shipping if still interested.

Yea it still all sounds good to me. Especially since It doe snot seem the round mirror with the long cable is in reproduction.

As you said it's a driver but it does look decent and its not a concourse show car anyway.

If you could send me a PM that would be great. I just joined like a week ago and I can't figure out how to do it haha.

Thanks

Kevin
