My 1967 Barracuda has an unsilenced air cleaner on a 2 barrel 273
This is the original factory air cleaner, my grandfather purchased the car new and he didn't change it. This is an early 67 California car

It uses the same filter as the chrome Commando air cleaner.
The base is designed to fit the Carter BBD carburetor.

I've looked through the parts book and couldn't figure it out.
The 14-29-2 Part type code looks to be for the snorkel unit.
The 14-29-7 shows 2463932 this looks to be the cover.
The 14-29-9 shows 2402678 is this the 2bbl base?
I have never seen one elsewhere, why did one end up on mine?
