So I've been dealing with a place for about 6 months on a bumper. The first one I was sent was unsatisfactory had raised area under the chrome etc. The second one they shipped me was the wrong year it had bumper jack slots in it. Now I get another 71 dart rear bumper back that's also not the original I was first sent when they told me they were going to strip and rechrome it and send it back to me. The one I was sent now has chrome bubbling and peeling all over the backside, has what looks like either a burn through or just where the chrome was rubbed off and you can see the copper coating underneath. A corner where you can see a bunch of pits. Also a couple shallow spots that look like dents. Is this acceptable? I'm burnt out dealing with these guys over what should have been right the first time. What would you guys do? Thanks.

find a different shop. these people suck. looks like they don't prep stuff too well

Not sure who actually did the plating. The person I bought it from I believe outsources their chrome jobs. I've been trying to call who I purchased it from multiple times today and have went straight to a busy signal each time. Either their phone is down or they blocked my number.

Tri-city they re-chromed 2 sets of bumpers for me excellent quality fit and finish:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Did you already pay them? If you did, I would contest the charge with your credit card. Send them to tricity plating

I paid with paypal and beings it's been so long already they wont do anything for me. The seller has been working with me. I finally got through on the phone. Someone else answered and he is heading to the Carlisle show and wont be back in until Tues. I'm going to see if he will refund my money

Check with your credit card that you used with paypal also, they may have buyer protection also.

Here in Cali it's $425 per with your bumper, I went with powdercoated bumpers instead, paid $120 for both bumpers, and the upper vent wing window frame.

I used Paul's Chrome (near Pittsburgh) Perfect work. BUT my originals were in near top shape to start with. Now they look like day 1 showroom...

Credit Cards are pretty good about backing customers, not so much vendors.

Yes if you use American Express. Visa? No, I had a problem with very poor quality from P&G classics on some 69 Dart Retored dash bezels. Visa actually was defending P&G by telling me " Well Mr Riveiro, you have to understand, these are restored, not new" I had to send them back on my dime, and I talked to the owner and told him " If in your opinion, these are of the quality you think is acceptable, keep them, if you agree with me, send me another set. " He sent me another set.
