1970 Dodge Dart

Been a good while since i Posted an update so for starters, Almost everything that was done on this car up until about 3 months ago has been completely 100% gutted. I don't want to get into why, but ill just say there was still alot of cobbling discovered and so i made a judgement call that the motor, trans, driveshaft, brake lines, fuel system/lines, and all wiring was getting ripped out of the car.

We stripped the car down basically to a rolling chassis and removed the fenders doors hood all the glass (except front windshield) and restarted the bodywork as well. The original plan was just gnna be to prime it, scuff it and paint it and run it a bit ratty. We decided the car deserved better than that so back to the beginning.

The bodywork on the car itself is now complete as long as we dont find any missed spots when we guide coat and block the car. Fenders and doors are prepped, they just need 220 sanded and fresh primer.

I also scored a 360 magnum motor which we tore down and started going through. The short block is ready and has been painted. Heads are at the machineshop getting minor work done. We contacted Lunati about a custom grind cam to meet our needs.

Engine bay has been prepped and painted "Hotrod Black" We decided the 2 toned look would make the Grabber green painted engine and heads Pop. Car will also be painted very close to Grabber Green. No vinyl top going back on, whole car will be body color minus the hood and dual scoops which are hotrod black.

did some patch work on the floor pans, they werent very rough at all, just small pin holes really. Also started the trunk patches. When the interior is done well be bed lining the floor and the interior of the trunk before carpet goes down.
