A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!
Well the info that I found online...might have been the correct measurement for his car...but it isn't going to work for mine. If you have a 74' automatic/power steering column and are converting to manual, adding 2 1/2" of 3/4" rod is NOT enough. 3 7/8" is the correct amount I should have added. As you can see in the pic I am about 7/8" short at max extension. Adding an extra 1/2" will allow it to operate in the middle of the Mopar joint. Ugh! Gotta do some more welding.
