LA - Cast cranks ( Dont throw away )

Nope. They were nodular iron. Either that or Forged steel. Mopar never offered the cast steel shafts from the factory. Mopar Performance did as an aftermarket piece. I think they were made by Eagle. The Cleveland cranks I am talking about were box stock. THey may have had some fancy machine work done like fillet radii and knife edging, but they were the stock pieces. You are correct that there were aftermarket pieces available, but I am not talking about those here.

I think the early cranks were Eagle but somewhere along the line I think Scat got the contract. Or maybe Eagle did the cast cranks and Scat the forged cranks.
I used to remember stuff like that. Not so much any more.
