I just got these ubolts from espo. They are supposed to be for an 8.74 but they dont fit my shock plates and seem a bit large for my axle housing. I'm not missing something here am i?

Yeah, I really boned this whole post. I'm going to go crawl under my car and wait for this whole embarrassing thing to blow over :(
not like anyone else here has ever made a mistake

Should have seen the home made ones i pulled off the barracuda.
They were sheet metal. And bent.

We all mess up every day.

No one is perfect.

But we can always laugh at ourselves.

No one here is laughing at you, only with you. :)

I

I am an idiot. Literally seconds after posting this I realized my problem. Wow, is my face red.

No need to feel bad. We all learn somewhere down the line.

uum , excuse me sir , but I am going to have to suggest that you put the pipe down and immediately back away

Had a friend years ago that was a self proclaimed master engine builder. Race engine, truck, car, it didn't matter, he was the man. I was about 16 at the time. If front of a bunch of guys standing around, hanging out. So he is building a 327. Without thinking he picks up a piston/rod assembly and says "Oh this is great, how am I suppose to know if this is number 6 or number 9" You could see almost instantly his face turning red and wishing he could take those words back. 46 years later we still give him hell. Yes it happens to everyone.
