So what does your car weigh?
Please list how your car is equipped, and mods if any. Whether its a driver, or race car.
And % on rear wheels, if you know..
mine seems heavy, but don't know if I'm all wet or not.
Thanks..

thanks.
All OEM? with driver?

65 Cuda @ 3400 lbs. 65'
That's interesting;

because that's about what my 68 Barracuda weighs and I never fail to call her a porker. 3450 me not in it. Aluminum heads, intake, and all aluminum manual trans case, with a 23pound GVOD hanging off the back. 8.75 with 295/50-15s all 4 aluminum wheels. And finally with the 64# folding rear seat gone and lightweight RX-7 front buckets, and 7-blade all-steel fan on a T-clutch. The freaking TTI 3"exhaust weighs 72 pounds! Front bias is 52.5%
Yes P/S, PDB
no A/C.
I know not an early-A, but now you know about 2nd gens, lol

I never weighed my 66 Dart. The info says 3053#.

..kinda why I asked, toolmanmike.
I did some digging during my build, and found some info on Alpar that showed my '63 6 cyl equipped with a curb wt of only 2660#
That's a far cry from what I'm getting. Even with fiberglass, manual steer, race brakes etc..

LMAO !
I read your earlier post AJ/FormS… yep, all those extra goodies add up.
I weighed EVERYTHING during my build.. I wanted to barf when I realized 1 MT 295 weighed as much as 1 OEM tire/wheel ! 40# !!
USmetal frame connectors 40# caltracs.. at least its on the rear..
I'm 47% on the rear last time I checked..

I think my fold down rear seat alone weighs a 100lbs! Lol 65'

No doubt, each of my front seats weigh 55# s

One 325/50-15 BFG DR on a 15x10" rally, weighs 4 pounds heavier than a 295/50-15 BFG TA on a 15x10 ET-II(14#)
heater is 16#
Sway bar and small steel skidplate is 18#
bumpers are 30# each
I was able to drop 200 pounds on race day, down to 3272 plus driver and helmet. The 64# rear seat never went back in

That's bumper and bracket, right?
OEM power steering/pump/hose/oil 52#, aluminum manual box w/arm = 26

My 66 Barracuda weighs 3050lbs. 360, 904, narrowed 8 3/4. Full steel body, sub-frame connectors, 4 wheel discs.

We are pretty close, Commando66. Similarly built too.
But the rest of you will probably block me for what I'm about to divulge.. mine weighs 2890# no driver. I had no idea these early A's were as heavy as they apparently are..
A buddies '68 notchback went 3175#
Seems like I read (somewhere) they go 2700# race prepped. Well, that's wrong ! , OR misleading..
Thanks for the info, Men !

I had to weigh mine for a new registration inspection (Australia), and provide a ticket from an Authorised Public Weighbridge. The answer is 1265KG (= 2788LB). That's for a 1964 Dart GT Hardtop, 225 Slant, 904 Torqueflite, full tank of fuel, running 14" steel rims. Hope this helps...

Wow! That does help! Yours is within 100# of the advertised shipping wt.

66 Dart, 408/TF904 with tubular uca's (RMS), 8.75 rear, OE cop car steelies (15x7's) 4 door, m-body spindles, factory lca's subframe connectors, sectioned k-member, caltracs, aluminum radiator, heads, intake, TTI longtube headers, spintech oval exhaust exits in front of the rear tires. 13 gal fuel cell, manual steering and brakes, kirkey race seats, stock rear seat, original interior in place - weighs 3450 with a full tank of fuel and my (180 lbs) in it. weight distribution of 45/55, heavier on the nose. Just ran it for the first time ever on a strip this last weekend, 1.89 60ft, 8.08 1/8 mile, 12.41 in the quarter with a 112 trap speed. this was on 225/60/15s with a 610 tread wear.
