Ok guys I know this is an a body forum, but I have a big block question for a pulling truck. I know there is plenty of experience on here so I figured I'd ask anyways.
This off season I'm planning to build a 440 for the factory stock class I pull in, what I'm wanting to find out is what the best flowing factory parts are for these engines. If anyone has any experience in building pulling motors I would greatly appreciate any input you have also.
Rules for the engine are cast intake and exhaust manifolds, cast heads, 496 inch limit and 15 inches of vacuum at 1000 rpms with no assistance. Pump gas or E85(I've been slipping some avgas in my tank and so far no issues).
I'm looking for info and parts to make the best running engine I can bc I'm tired of Chevy and ford dominating this class. Any tips or info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've listed the rules in my original post, I'm looking at a stroker kit from 440 source right now. Gonna call them and talk to a tech guy later this week. Anyone had any experience with them?

Im using their 400/470 kit and it was perfect according to my machinist that double checked the balance.

Machine shop did the block, I ordered the kit, machine shop double checked the kit and balance, I slapped everything together.
