Hey everybody in FABO-land. I am a lifelong Mopar guy and just recently picked up a '65 Valiant 200 crew cab. I owned a 1970 Dart Swinger 340 4 speed car back in the day and have always liked A bodies. Figured it would be a good idea to join this forum.

I am a current member of FBBO & FCBO too. I have a '65 Belvedere II project in the garage now, but that is probably 2 to 3 years before it's done.

I had been looking around, trying to find an interim old Mopar until the Belvedere is done when I ran across the Valiant. It was a father/son project that stalled and is really blown apart. Appears to be a super solid and straight car. I don't really have many pics of the car as I just picked it up. I'll get some more up in the next few days.

Valiant Crew cab...first time I heard a more-door called that. I like it!
 
Welcome. I have to laugh. When you said Crew Cab I thought TRUCK?? Now I get it. LOL. Wouldn't that make the sweetest sleeper with a warmed over small block and some 4.10 gears. Or a /6 daily driver would be cool too.

It would make an awesome sleeper and the thought has crossed my mind, but......my Belvedere will be the bruiser and this will be the cruiser. It will get some upgrades when going back together, but keeping it a /6 auto. Trying to keep it a simple, cheap & quick project.
 
That will be cool. I always like seeing the /6 cruisers at car shows. If you could add AC to it, it could be the perfect cruiser.
 
Welcome to FABO, i like to see the cars put back on the road and driven rather than sitting in a garage.
I think 4 doors are cool, and make great drivers..........
