How do I remove the ball joint from this knuckle arm of my '72 Dart Swinger? Also, is the bolt still in the arm attaching it to the steering knuckle riveted or pinned so it can't be removed? It appears to be as a large brass hammer will not move it.

Thanks,

Bob

It's the same as the other bolt on the ball joint that already removed. Take a photo of the other side

Is there a special puller for removing it? There is no way to push it out. There is nothing "easy" about that bolt. Appreciate the fast reply.
Soak it in penetrating oil overnight. You could then put the nut on the bolt and press it out or get a big hammer.

I had the same problem recently, install the other bolt finger tight so that the ball joint assembly cant spin around on you, and my impact wrench took care of it in a few seconds. When I did it for a friend i put the ball joint assembly ear part that is hanging out tight in a vice and I removed it with a wrench and a cheater bar

Rattle casting with air hammer and pour water on it. Hot water works even better. Will break rust loose.
