1000 hp 340?

Bigger engine than what the quarters say and a supercharger is my guess. Oops missed the Hemi part.

First off. It says it's a HEMI. So it's not a small block.

Its Josh King. He is the promoter for Monster Mopar.
That car will make a bunch more than a 1000
Will run 7’s once sorted out. He made some easy mid 5 1/8 mile hits at Monster Mopar this past weekend.
BES built twin turbo deal

Missed the Hemi part in the title. Mods can you move this to forced induction or the appropriate section?
Done. I missed the Hemi part too. Whoever titled the video should have left the 340 out of the title. LOL

That Green Duster on the chassis dyno is NOT Josh King's car, it's Rick Trunkett , one of the owners of Big 3 racing down in OHIO. I hear he's building a better motor right now.

Yep..... just actually “ looked” at the car.... lol
Josh’s car just made 1200 at the tire on a pull. There is a link to it in the thread on Moparts in the gen3 tech section

I am really getting more and more interested in these gen 3 builds. Seems like it could be some decent competition for the LS and Coyote guys.
The Gen3 Hemi factory blocks can handle more torque and horsepower before failing than production small blocks, and the heads flow a lot of air.
Plenty of guys making them fit A bodies, so no real reason not to run one, except I mostly have street junk and it's been way cheaper to build Magnum engines.
The 5.7 versions of the Hemi have really come down in price though, and are easier to find as cores in junk yards now.

This may be the other one you guys mentioned. Saw it last weekend at Norwalk. May have drooled on it a little.

From what I have been reading on the 5.7 the head seems to be the week part when you start throwing boost at it. Seems like most guys are switching heads.
