Well finally picked my new 340 Rpm heads and TR5 tunnel ram & TM5 intakes up yesterday . Both intakes were gasket matched so either route I choose the intakes are ready to go
2x4 or single 4 set up .
Hopefully these numbers are promising and will help me make good power with my 340 Drag Gasser motor.

He seemingly didnt move much metal. Those numbers look like a typical “ stage 1” type job.
Still enough head to probably support 500 horsepower on the right combination

Its was only $650 for port work and then like $380 for competition valve job and surface heads.

Well, if you put them on your car and you are not satisfied with the power, look up Ryan Johnson@ ShadyDell Speed Shop. He is a small block Mopar specialist. He ported my heads back in 2009...I ordered the Stage II port...they flow 293cfm....and....well....I'll leave the link below.

Not trying to pick on you at all, but for the same money you could have had Modern cylinder cnc your heads and do the valve job. The numbers from that work are WAY better and have proven out in on track performance.
Those go 290 ish at 600 and 280+ at 500. Very nice program they have.
Again, not pickng on ya, but ask around before investing that amount of money, lots of guys on here that know who can do what, and for how much.

Im not sensitive and I didnt cry when Caitlyn Jenner won the courage award so dont worry about offending me etc.
We will see how my combo performs and like all power lovers I will upgrade as needed .

LMAO, what a dicky thing to say to guy posting his results. “There OK ... should have spent more money (shipping to and fro not included...) to have a real head....”

G’s ah H man! WTF?!?!?!
Guys like you really help the shy post results.

The day someone cant post honest thoughts on here( or elsewhere) will be the day i wont bother anymore.
I prefaced my comment by saying i didnt want it taken the wrong way.
Frankly he did spend a grand on very small results, hopefully in the future he will ask on here and people will respond and help him get the best bang for his buck.
If i didnt give a poop i wouldnt have said anything.

Btw, Modern( who i have nothing to do with) will run a cnc and do a valve job for 800 and the results are way different than the OP got. If you know as much as you act like you do, you already should know what i said is 100% accurate.

Thanks, no problem

Im back , very pleased with work included with the price was port matching my [ TR5 & TM5 ] intakes doing a Gasser so not sure which route Im going ! PS $1000 isn't **** I spent that on antique Benelli minibikes last weekend while attending vintage bike show . If I don't like my results I might buy something else nice having options.

Glad your happy man. At the end of the day thats all that matters.

He generally isnt a bad poster, but he seems to get moody and wound up once in a while.
Its all good
That High winding Tunnel-Rammed 340 with a Jerico in the Henry J would put a Big smile on any motorheads face .
