I transported a small block with the same stand, just left the casters off and ran lag bolts to my trailer floor.
I have a different engine sitting on the same same stand, 6 years later, the commercial ones hold up good and are cheap.
Think about it for a minute, all they do is just support weight, and with casters allow you to move the engine to a storage position, its not like it is a moving part.
