Of course I'd love to say this was a great project, no problems all was good..... yeah right. lol. Overall a great project, but as any father or son who has ever taken on a project like this knows, it was not always smooth. we worked together, fought a lot, had a difference of a opinion several hundred times. Our relationship really took a hit from this, and though we got it done it, it hurt both of us. I realized i was a too hard on my boy at times, and wasn't really listening to him enough. He learned.....finally, to speak up for himself and that his opinion mattered.
overall we both enjoyed the project, we spent some time apart after it was completed, but we are both proud of what we built.
My son has since turned the car back to me, and has undertaken his 2nd build......a 1972 Dart Swinger. I could not be prouder of him.
