Just purchased a 62 valiant signet 200 2 dr hardtop. missing the cast points for the front fender trim. both right and left. I think they are '62 signet 200 only. Please let me know where I can find these.

You are correct that these are '62 signet only. Finding them is near impossible but I wish you luck. And if you find a second pair please keep me in mind. My car has been "pointless" for a decade now.

I went to Carlisle and found 5 tail lights and 2 front bumpers all were in very poor condition and the only direction heads shook was no on anything I asked for. 62 is a one year only and getting scarer by the day.

@Mr.Sinister - as big as the Carlisle meet is and those few items were all that you found??!! Your making me rethink my Signet as daily driver. Although the one thing other drivers can't ruin are the fender peaks since their already missing sadly. ;-)

@john Olson - have you approached/corresponded with Rick Layson on this forum. He has both the experience and expertise to remake these. Perhaps you could run a wanted ad for interest in these and depending on that interest maybe he could/would give us a cost to remake. I'm down for two sets, one for my driver and a spare. Also there are large dealers in Mopar NOS parts I've seen on EBAY, like fmmpar, glnos, and a couple of others. You could contact them thru EBAY and give them the part numbers. You never know since they are putting new stuff on line every day. They may also advertise in Hemmings Motor News if your not into EBAY. For the left I have P/N 2276583 (taken from broken/corroded busted one I keep in my glove box) the right should end in either 82, or 84. Maybe someone with a parts book can confirm. If they were the same L & R, it cuts his mold/tooling costs in half.

A friend and fellow early valiant fan emailed me and confirmed the right side is P/N 2276582. If that helps any.

Thanks for the info. I will keep looking

Unfortunately, the left and right are not the same, when my left was broken in an accident (40 years ago) I tried swapping the right just to see if it would fit...nope...I'm still missing my left point.

Perhaps also posting pics of the pieces you are looking for might be beneficial . Many of us have trim/mouldings in our collections that we have no idea what they go to. Who knows, you might get lucky.

As for that list of people to contact, I would get feedback from others (who have been in the hobby for awhile) before dealing with some of them.

I can't find any close up photos of these front points and I don't have any, Never even seen one in person. Maybe someone could post me a closeup photo?

This is a right side, won't fit the left. ( I've tried)
