Holley black pump and e85

4-500 dollar pump is just hard to swallow
Here's what I’m thinking
Black pump,regulator and return
And 5/8 fuel line
Any one see a problem with this idea
If I have I guess buy a expensive pump
But really don’t wanna

I just purchased an entire magnafuel system.
I called them and told them e85 or methanol(not decided yet)
They asked how much horsepower and where the pump would be located(truck mounted pump and 3 gallon cell.
Methanol is worse case scenario because of volume.
They recommended their top of the line pro star because of g force
And wheels up(gravity) trying to stall fuel. If pump was front mounted quick star would be enough. Number 10 line from pump to regulator and 12 line from fuel cell to pump.
And an 8 line from regulator to carb. They recommended the optional
Pump bypass spring if there was trouble regulating pressure.
I went with ptfe lines for compatibility with any fuel.
Not cheap. But once and done. Agreed about metal filter element too.
