I contacted Mr. Finch irt a "Cool Aire" air condition system for my 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet and we settled on a price of $750.00.
That part was ok. Paid him with two checks one dated the 4th of June and the other dated the 28th of June.
He has told me that it was mailed out via UPS but will not provide a tracking number and now does not answer the phone when I call. He stated that UPS did not provide a tracking number.
Anyone know of UPS never supplying them with a tracking number when you shipped something out via them?
Anyway it is the 6th of Augaust I no "Cool Aire" air condition system received.

Where is he, and where are you? Try calling from a different number and see if he answers. Try emailing him dp that you have documenting evidence if you have to take him to court.

DO NOT threaten or harass him.

Man that sucks I have never not got a tracking number I hope you can either get your part or your money back

I have dealt with him on smalls at the Mopar Spring Fling car show in Van Nuys, Daryl Finch is a real person, has been doing business for a great many years. A friend got a transmission from him but went to his yard in person. I'm pretty sure he is a business not just an individual.

Credit cards are safer than checks or cash.....
That sucks...I hope it's an honest screw up and it get's resolved....

That sucks, and I am sorry for this happening to you. But it seems like he is a real person, This was given to me when I bought some parts off craigslist, the seller highly recommended Daryl for finding the hard to find stuff on my A body but that he could be a little on the pricer end, although I have never been myself. I hope this helps

He used to come to the MATS show, but hasn't for several years. It may have been a rumor but I heard he went to jail.
Sorry to hear of your problem. We bought from him in the early 2000's. Sad.

I`d call a friend out there and have him kick his *** !

I have also been burned by this dickhead, I was only looking for a rim, stupid me thought I could trust another mopar guy. He said he would send it when he received the check, check cleared and no rim. If I lived closer to Cali I would take it out of his hide.

Now here was a guy that had lots of good parts, and had a good business going and thru it all away.
Like I said he was a regular at the early days of MATS .Sad.

This man is a disgusting FRAUD and a RIP off!! He commits mail fraud, he takes your checks/payments and will never mail out your parts. It took my dad 3 months and a letter from an attorney to finally get his parts but the jerk sent the wrong ones!! This man deserves to be in jail u dont mess with a mans wallet or his car!!! This guy is a scum bag.

People are so eager to send some unknown mopar person $$$. Doing a little research may have helped....noone is immune to Google....

He is a piece of Sh** He was suppose to restore my 71 Barracuda. He took it apart sandblasted the shell . It was a complete car that needed lots of metal work floors and such . He kept my $ and the other rustfree .cuda shell he sold me . Never gave me the title for it. After more than 3 years I made the 350 mile trip to get my car the shell and all the parts. He left my car and the parts out in the dirt road outside his yard . Imagine pulling up and seeing you motor, trans new sheet metal good grill seats all there for anyone to take. This was out in the desert. What a pussy! Coward A****** he is. I hope.this guy finds out he has cancer.

Is this the guy that use to show up at Fall and Springfling with all the engines and major engine parts?

First, paying 750 dollars for an ANCIENT AC system is a dumbfuck move, when there are much better, NEW modern aftermarket systems to be had for almost the same price. Sorry, somebody had to say it.

That said, keep this in mind. A check is a signed CONTRACT. If both those checks have been presented to his bank and honored, then he can be sued for breach of contract.

The tracking number is part of the paperwork when a package is sent thru UPS. Its part of the form. Either he sent it or he didn't.

That's right! Tracking numbers are generated in the system. If he shipped it, the tracking number is there somewhere. The only way for it not to have a tracking number is if it was never sent.

Couldn’t stand this douche bag at the Flings. You could tell right away he was white trash.
