I stopped by to talk to the guy about the duster today too ….he wasn't there. :(

I left a note on the door, so we shall see

yep

pro touring, aka autocross/roadrace.
I am thinking sleeper. Grandma look on the outside but a big block 4 gear inside

Bench seat, very little trim like a belvedere 1 economy look but a 383 or 440 with a 4 speed and 3.91 gears.

It is coming with a 440 but I might trade out the 440 with the polara and put the 383 from the polara in the belvedere.

Always wanted to build a high compression 383 stroker sleeper.

I might need to spend more time on FBBO.

I have not logged in or even looked over there since last year some time.
There's some good guys over there but one thing I've noticed is a sense of entitlement/arrogance from some of them. Those being the ones that think the only mopars worth owning are big block and hemi 4 speed cars.

Not as bad as the e body forum though

That said, there's some really good guys over there, especially in the 62-66 classic section

Exactly why I stopped going over there.

That's a cool car.

I was just thinkin the convertible mechanisms. They can't be easy to find. The rest of it, funny car cage, tubs, BIG steelies, 500" big block, rust and all. :rofl:And 1 little seat in the back for a brave passenger/ballast.
Might not be any metal left to weld anything too, like a cage, tubs.......

Just asking, do you guys torque every bolt to spec? I just answered a thread.

I do for all the engine bolt that have a torque spec...

They take the time, effort, and money to develop torques specs for a reason... I have been involved in developing torque specs myself a few times...

That's the only way to make sure that it is tight enough and won't come loose in the future. and also not to over torque and weaken the bolt....

Torquing to spec is the only way to get the proper clamp load on the joint that you are tightening...
