So after 6 weeks of sanding, grinding, bondoing, glazing, sanding, redoing the roof seam twice, sanding, removing anything that was screwed (and glued) to the body. I finally dropped it off at the paint shop for the $900 special. I am changing color back to the original color which was a silver color. We'll see how close I got. While I wait, I got the bright idea to paint the old pitted trim letters and side mirror a GLossy Black. Hopefully car is done in a week.

Done. $900 paint job. We'll see how long it lasts. And yes I painted most of the trim black all by myself.
Didn't paint all the trim, because that would be silly. Funny, I removed everything except the driver door look, and the trunk lock...and of course they painted right over them both.

I'm sure you could still scrap the paint off with a razor blade.. nice and slow..
