Yawn Dart??? 1968 Hurst hemi proTouring clone

Well I Guess it is time I started a build thread on my 68 dart. Yawn Dart will have to suffice until i come up with something more clever/better.

I bought it off Facebook. Was given a timeslip of a 13.55 @101 mph with a 2.02 60'

I figured right off based on the 60' there was free/cheap power somewhere in this car.
Motor is a .60 over 360 with KB 10.5-1 pistons.
Stock 71cc heads come xe274h cam, electric water pump long tube headers, holley 600cfm 2600 stall, 8.75 rear with Yukon axles and 4.56 gears, vacuum secondary 600cfm holley with a dual plane mopar m1 intake.

For the first trip out I replaced all the tires. Backs were 28x9x15 MT slicks and the fronts were 195x15 l. I also added a edelbrock airgap rpm intake and a 750dp quickfuel brawler carb. Best pass was a 13.29@101 with a 1.94 60'. Needs work. At the end of the pass temp was 230* and the best I could stall it to was about 2100

Spent tonight fitting the super stock hood I got off
Of Facebook with some custom jailbars I made, and installed the transbrake switch on the steering wheel, also made one collector extension based on feedback I got here. I'll finish the other one tomorrow. 20180807_180641.jpg
