I took The Barracuda to Bandimere Speedway last evening. I am a 62 year old, life long drag racing fan that had never taken the tree. I had a blast!
I definitely have some tuning issues to work out. The car wanted to roll over right after the launch and then pick up and go. The carb is out of the box and likely needs rejetted for the nearly 6,000’ altitude.
My best time slip was a 17.64 @ 78.22. The “penalty box” index for the car is 16.7.
I am still trying to wipe the grin off my face.
