G’day all, my riveted upper pivots are hurting! Chrome wise. Does anyone know of a source for just the upper rivet on pieces? Thanks,

I couldn't find a replacement, so I wire brushed them shiny and then clear-coated them.

Thx guys. I didn't find anything on the net so I figured this would be the best place to ask.
Thinking of just doing the pin in black seeing as it’s almost covered by the rubber.

Happen to be working on all my windows and glass so can share some photos. These vent wing parts have been removed for cleaning/polishing.plating. One of these pivots was good but the other was rusted. So one of these buffed on my wire wheel and clear coated. Can you tell which one? If you look really, really close you can.

Look easy enough to wire brush and polish... what material are they? Steel? Stainless? Aluminum? Doesn't really matter when you wire wheel and polish.

Nah... they are pretty pitted, or I would consider rubbing them. And yes, stainless comes in 2 different formulas

Stainless comes in at least seven grades. Their rust avoidance comes not from it's "purity" but from the addition of other metals. Hence the different grades.
