Worked at a Buick dealer in the late 70's. Discovered very quickly A 455 Stage 1 was in a different class than my 383 RR. The short stroke 400 Olds (67 was the last year before the dimensions were changed) was a sleeper in a 442. Buick also made the lightest 350 at General Motors. A Poston cam really wakes it up.
