Any single plain intakes fit under stock hood of a 69 dart with a 400 stroker ?

383 Street Dominator with a drop based air cleaner. I fit one in a 65 A

X2 for Street dominator, that is a FABULOUS intake
yes sir ! and if you have one , no need to change. been running one since the early 80's.
there is only one intake that will perform a tiny bit better, the edelbrock rpm, but hood clearance can be an issue.

That’s what’s on my 383 and I believe getting harder to find.... I saw 3 or 4 at Carlisle all in the $125 range... shoulda grabbed another!

torker and eddy rpm worked on my 383 dart . motor out have the dart got hit and i sold the body .

Was at Norwalk this passed weekend and i seen a b block with a 1 inch spacer with a 383 victor , and it seemed like a air cleaner with a drop down base that seemed to of fit ... I am thinking the Trickflow should then fit ?

I have a 1968 Dart with a 383 Big Block. I had a regular performer intake on with stock style pie pan air cleaner and Holley Double Pumper. It cleared great. I then changed to a Eldelbrock Torker. It is just a tad taller, but still clears with the Holley and the stock style air cleaner. In my setup, a Edlebrock RPM without a dropbase air cleaner would not clear.

"In my setup, a Edlebrock RPM without a dropbase air cleaner would not clear."

SO a eddie RPM with a drop base air cleaner did fit ?

Sorry, that was confusing. When I was doing a little math before I decided which intake I got. A drop base may have let the assembly clear. I was not gonna chance it due to the cost of wrong. Sorry for the confusion
