Took this to the car corral but had no buyers...

My buddy took his original driver to the corral, 70 Charger. He was asking 48k. A few low ballers, so he drove it home.

Let's not turn this thread into a sale/wanted thread. If you are interested in a car you see here that was for sale at the Nats, simply send the seller a personal message.

Drove up Saturday morning for Mopar Nationals, accidentally ended up at Golf Cart Nationals.

Seriously though, had a great time and saw a lot of great stuff as usual. My son was runner up in the coloring contest and received a plaque and had his actual sheet that he colored printed on a shirt, had 3 different people approach ask him if he wanted to sit in their vehicles when they saw him looking at them, and he’s convinced that Christine is real and has talked about the car every day since we got home.

The FABO tent was one of the best displays on the grounds as always.

Where was that FABO tent?

I think he meant the BIG tent by the staging lanes sponsored by HDK (we arrange it and pick up the slack) and the tent attendees with mostly A bodies owned by FABO members and race cars.

ANY cool or historical Mopar is welcome, we just like to fill the tent.....no requirement to have anything HDK in it, just be a jaw dropper. Oh....and NO stuffed animals, rotating look-a-like diecast or crying dolls leaning on the bumpers.

looking back over this thread....sorry I missed some of the questions.....We were thrashing late nights and weekends to make the Flash presentable for the Nats and spent little to no computer time leading up to the Nats.

You guys did a great job Denny, I am always excited to stop by and see what you have going. It was great to meet Butch and see his cars.

I've seen a ton of pictures and I'm super upset about not making it this year. I will for sure be there next year with my car.

sorry you missed it Joe....we had a hole for you right behind the Flash and the Wire Car Mopar Missile. Luckily, we were able to fill it with we believe is the (recently found) last Pro Stock Dart Don Carlton campaigned. Built by Clyde Hodges, it first had Cartons name on the side, then painted as a Rod Shop car with Carlton at the wheel. After that, they switched to the Colts.

Truly....this year, with the help of the present FABO buddies, was the most fun I ever had at the NATS.

Yes. Sorry Denny, didn’t mean to take anything away from you guys. I just referred to it as the FABO tent since it seems to mostly be FABO member vehicles in it, paid for and organized by HDK. Thank you for doing that, it’s always the first place I go to and typically return to multiple times throughout the day.

We walked up as the teal 440 Dart unloaded and parked. The look and sound of that car is on point! I asked my 6 year old on the way home what his favorite car was, he said the black Hemi Demon in your tent.

I missed the cars in the tent, when I found your guys location, you were loading the missle on the hauler, cool truck by the way.
I did not make it up there until Sunday.

No Problem at all.....I think the Nats program map calls it the HDK tent. I am honored and happy that some refer to it the FABO tent.....a great bunch of Mopar hot rodders I am glad to be part of.

The teal 440 Dart belongs to my buddy J.C. He and I were street racing our Mopars in Findlay since the early 70's. I would guess the reason he had not built something sooner.....was 2, now 3 X-wives.

The HemiDemon is owned and built by FABO member HemiMark. Mark bought the first HDK ever built, but I think the HemiDemon was his 3rd HDK....now building a 68 small block / HDK (his 4th) Dart

So when do we start planning for next year?

Took this to the car corral but had no buyers...

I have been to Nats many times, but not in last 10 yrs. Few cars sold at the car corral back when I went. Not a good place to sell projects or done cars. Finished cars would find a real buyer sitting in the show filed a lot sooner IMHO. And people go loking for bargains anywhere they go. Just the old car hobby, Mopar in particular!?

HemiDenny's tent always looks so cool. But it is way too far to drive from Tx to Oh!!!!!!!!!
