I was pulling crabs out of the traps this afternoon and one of the keepers managed to pitch my finger through the leather gloves. He couldn’t get through the glove but managed to get enough of my finger tip between the tips of his claw to give me a nice blood blister.
I marked him before putting him in the floating pen so I can make sure he is first to go into the pot when it’s cooking time!
