So I just got a Champion for my 66 Dodge Dart, everything seems doable to me I'm just worried about the transmission lines. So taking them off..? is there any tricks or things I should watch out for as Im doing it. I've been dousing them in pb blaster and I have my 5/8 for the big nut but looks like there's a little one too. Do I only unscrew the little one? So can someone give me a quick and dirty tip for removing them without busting anything?

Loosen/remove the big one first! Take the line off THEN the fitting.

Remove the "tube nut" completely. Then you can remove the "connector". Give it a good cleaning and thread it into the new radiator. I use some Teflon tape where it threads into the radiator, it's NPT if I remember correctly and SHOULD seal without anything on it though.

Okay got it. Just thinking it out. My lines are metal, so not much bending back will happen once i loosen the "tube nut" or will it give me an inch or so of movement?

I usually bend them back a couple inches to make sure they're out of the way. Just don't over bend them or they can kink. It's easy, and you would have to get violent with them to kink them. Take caution not to crossthread the tube nuts when your reinstalling it. The "connectors" are usually brass or some softer metal. Crossthreading one isn't the end of the world but it would be a bummer to have to chase one down at the parts store.

Get a set of tubing wrenches like this

And use a backup wrench on the "connector" to prevent it from rotating
