200-4R Behind a 340 and Reid Bellhousing Build

I bought mine from Art Carr. I got the transmission, torque converter, super servo, tv bracket and adapter plate including shipping for $3300. I got the mid range built transmission good up to 750 horsepower.
Additionally I had to buy some steel to make a crossmember and a few nuts and bolts. That was about all the extra expenses for the transmission.

Was the adapter plate already bolted to the trans. or put on in the install. ? I understood "clinteg" had to machine the bell housing off and fit it , or have it done.???????????
If I were to tackle it , I would probably rework the floor of mine too, along w/ building a crossmember .
