Thanks, I'm aware of having to make parts fit and don't have a problem with that at all. I had not considered using a floor from a later model. I'd thought they were too different. I'd love to see those pictures. Sounds like a very viable solution.
in a perfect world though, I find someone with a car that got hit by a low flying aircraft that as a solid bottom.. :)
