FYI, THERE IS A METAL HEAT TAPE USED IN THE A.C INDUSTRY FOR HOT VENTS, WHEN IT GETS HOT IT BURNS IN AND U CANT GET IT OFF W.O SCRAPINHG IT OFF. BUT DOESN`T HAVE ANY INSULATING QUALITIES.--------------as always disregard caps !
If they were to use it on a alum backed header wrap, that is not over standard thickness, they could get rich , when it caught on ! I`d even re wrap my freshly coated headers w/ it .
